REIL Tenders For 200,000 Mono/Multi Crystalline Silicon Solar Cells

Rajasthan Electronics and Instruments Limited (REIL), has issued a request for proposals for the delivery of 200,000 monocrystalline or multicrystalline solar cells with a wattage output higher than or equal to 4.62W.

Bidding closes on February 21, 2022.

The solar cells’ size should be 156 x 156 ± 1.0 mm in size or 156.75 x 156.75 ± 1.0 mm in thickness, with a cell thickness of 200 ± 20 microns.

The cells will be delivered in two lots of one lakh cells each within two weeks following REIL delivery permission.

The cells must be vacuum packaged in an export-worthy manner in lots of 100 to minimize damage during transit and must be properly secured in shockproof thermocol boxes. The seller must provide the cell in a 0.05W power band.

The vendors who has not supplied these cells earlier should submit sample of 140 nos. of each watt of solar cells free of cost to REIL for evaluation and acceptance before due date of the Tender. Only those vendors, whose samples qualify in our acceptance criteria, can be considered.

As per tender document, REIL has given preference to MSE as

1. 25% of the tendered quantity is earmarked for MSE suppliers in this tender
2. Out of the 25% tendered quantity reserved for MSE suppliers, 20% shall be earmarked for procurement
   from MSE owned by SC/ST entrepreneurs.
3. 1n case MSE vendor participating in the tender quotes within the price band of L1+15%, they will be allowed to supply the portion of the requirement subject to acceptance of L1 price by MSE vendor. In case of more than one such MSE, the supply shall be shared proportionately.
4. CA certificate, to be submitted in support of your firm falling under MSME.
