The solar park will have 3,640 solar panels installed on a 15,000 square metres area and will generate 3,304 MWh of electricity every year. The power plant will be completed at the beginning of 2023 and will supply 20% of the total energy needs of Makadi Heights.

An initial investment of around $1.14 million will be made and the project will be financed by local banks through a program of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).

SolarizEgypt will design, commission, install and operate the solar power plant for 25 years of a time period. The company has solar projects of more than 50 MW as of now.
