Solegreen Ltd has signed an agreement with S’energy to acquire the later company with $402 million. The capacity of the project will be 2.5 GW in the initial stage.
Solegreen, owned by Generation Capital Investment Fund, is active in the development, construction, management, and operation of green power plants.
The company owns a portfolio of 50 MW of income-producing assets and about 785 MW of projects under development in Israel, as well as more projects in development in Italy, according to its website.
Netaniya, Israel-based S’energy specializes in the installation and operation of rooftop photovoltaic systems, floating solar installations, and charging stations for electric vehicles.
The company has a project portfolio at different development stages, involving over 200 MW of projects.
