JinkoSolar Reaches Delivery Milestone of 100GW of Total Solar Panels


JinkoSolar announced it has delivered 100GW of solar modules globally with approximately one out of every ten solar modules installed in the world being produced by JinkoSolar. Despite supply chain disruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Company has managed to capture the interest of the world and has become a driver and trend-setter of progress in the solar PV sector. With Cheetah, Swan, Tiger, and Tiger Pro series firmly established, the Company has launched the new series of ultra-efficient Tiger Neo modules, the first mass-produced module that delivers a maximum power output of up to 620W and an ultra-high conversion efficiency of up to 22.30%. The Tiger Neo series is one of the most efficient solar modules in the market to date.

Gulf Renewable Lab To Test Efficiency of Solar Panels Installed at Desert Technologies Factory

Desert Technologies, the first Saudi manufacturer and exporter of solar panels and a global leader in the field of renewable energy solutions, signed a cooperation agreement with the Gulf Renewable Lab to examine and test the solar panels produced by the company and to provide safety, quality and efficiency tests according to the latest international specifications. The Desert Technologies Factory was represented by Eng. Majid Al-Refaie, the Group Chief Commercial Officer, while the Gulf Renewable Lab was represented by Eng. Mohammed Al Muaili the Chief Operation Officer.

CRUL and IRENA Sign Partnership to Promote Research on Renewable Energy

The Lazio Region Universities Coordination Committee (CRUL) and the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) establishing a new partnership aimed at developing joint research on how to boost renewable energy as a key element in the energy transition. The research will focus, among others on bioenergy, geothermal, hydroelectric, ocean, solar, and wind energy in pursuit of sustainable development, access to energy, energy security, economic growth, and low-carbon prosperity. With nearly 210.000 students and programmes in all fields of knowledge, the CRUL, made up of 13 universities, hosts 13 percent of the entire student population in Italy, being the second largest in Italy.

Arla Foods Invests $1.3 Million For Largest Solar Power Plant Of Bahrain

Arla Foods invested $1.3 million to install the largest solar power plant in Bahrain. The plant has 8000 square meters of solar panels. The plant is installed in Manama. The plant has a capacity of 1.7 MWs and will generate 20% of the energy consumption needs. It will also reduce 1,600 tons of carbon dioxide emissions per year. This project has created 200 indirect and direct job opportunities. Arla Foods is a major dairy company based out of the United Kingdom and in total it has invested $63 million to increase its production in Bahrain. The company has done this to increase the shelf life of the products and also reduce transportation costs.
