Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited ((TPREL), a 100% subsidiary of Tata Power, has completed 120MW of solar projects in Masenka, Gujarat.
Gujarat Government (GUVNL) will benefit from the landmark project, which will generate 305247 MWh annually. The installation involved the use of 3.81 lakhs modules. This project will result in a reduction of up to 1.03 million tons CO2 per year. The project used thin-film glass on modules with various wattages and capacities ranging from 440Wp up to 460Wp. .
Dr. Praveer Sinha (CEO&MD, Tata power) spoke out about the commissioning. “We are proud that we have announced the commissioning at Masenka in Gujarat of the 120 MW solar plant. Tata Power’s renewables capacity now stands at 3,520 MW with 2,588 and 932 MW respectively.

Tata Power has 4,920 MW total renewable capacity, with 1,400 MW of projects in various stages of development.
