The agreements were exchanged yesterday in the presence of HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and HE Kyriakos Mitsotakis, Prime Minister of Greece.

Masdar made its first investment in the Greek market last year, with the company committing to develop a 65-megawatt (MW) solar photovoltaic (PV) project through a joint venture with Taaleri Energia.

Recently, Masdar and Hassan Allam Utilities announced that they have signed two Memorandums of Understanding with leading Egyptian state-backed organizations to cooperate on the development of green hydrogen production plants in the Suez Canal Economic Zone and on the Mediterranean coast.
