SirajPower and Abu Dhabi’s Cleanco Waste Treatment (CWT), have reached a 10-year agreement to jointly finance a 2 MVA solar-diesel battery project.
According to a press release, Cleanco will be able to provide reliable power through a hybrid system that includes solar photovoltaic (PV), a diesel generator and a battery.
This solution will help CWT’s diesel-powered waste treatment facility to reduce its fuel consumption, operational expenses, and carbon footprint.

Khalid Khouri (CEO of Cleanco Waste Treatment) stated that safe waste management and disposal are essential components of ensuring less waste material goes to the general waste stream and reducing the negative effects on the environment.
