SJVN secured capacities of 200 MW at Rs. 2.90/kWh, Juniper won 75 MW at Rs 2.90/kWh. Sukhbir Agro and Tata Power were allotted 150 MW and 50 MW respectively. Each was quoted at Rs 2.91/kWh. Avaada, which was quoted at Rs 2.91/kWh for 300 MW, was allotted 25 MW using the bucket filling process.

MSEDCL will enter into an agreement for power purchase (PPA), with the bidders for the purchase solar power. The PPA covers new or proposed solar power projects, and for 25 year from the date of execution for existing projects.

In June MSEDCL had issued a request for proposals for the procurement of power on a long-term basis from 500 MW of interstate grid-connected solar power projects (Phase-VII).
