Blupine, Engie, Tata Power, UPC Renewables Emerge Winners at GUVNL’s 750 MW (Phase XVI) Solar Auction

GUVNL’s (Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam) 750 MW solar grid-connected (Phase XVI) with a greenshoe option of an additional capacity of up to 750 MW solar tender result is out. The tender was launched in July this year.

Solarcraft Power India 2 (Blupine Energy), Solairedirect Energy (Engie), Tata Power Renewable Energy, and Utkrisht Solar Energy (UPC Renewables) are the winners in the auction.

The lowest price of Rs.2.49/kWh was quoted by Blupine Energy and they received 120 MW, Engie won 200 MW at Rs. 2.50/kWh,
Tata Power Renewable received maximum capacity which is 300 MW at Rs2.65/kWh. UPC Renewables got 130 MW of the 280 MW quoted at Rs2.66/kWh).

GUVNL’s 500 MW of Solar Tender Auction (Phase I) had the lowest price ever of Rs.1.99/kWh.
