The Plant Features FIMER PVS980 1MW Central Inverter And A PVS980-BC 2MW Energy Storage Inverter

FIMER provides its high-technology solar inverters to a recently commissioned 1MW hybrid BESS system coupled with 1MW Solar for the Indian Army in Leh Ladakh. This prestigious project was inaugurated by Shri Rajnath Singh, Honourable Defence Minister, Govt of India on Aug 16th, 2022.

With the aim of powering a military base camp for sustainable reasons, the project came with its own challenges for its stringent environmental conditions at the project location. It is to be noted that the project located at Siachen Base camp, Partapur is 12000ft above sea level.

The plant features FIMER PVS980 1MW central inverter and a PVS980-BC 2MW energy storage inverter. The project was executed through Refex Group company.
