How has the year 2022 been for JA Solar’s business in the region?

2022 has been a challenging year same as 2021. Solar modules have witnessed an increase in costs due to elevated commodity and freight prices. Polysilicon prices have reached their highest level since 2011, while other BOM material prices such as steel, aluminum, copper, and silver have also increased in which module prices have gone up significantly. However, the competitiveness of solar as a source of energy actually improves, due to much sharper increases in natural gas and coal prices. With that being said, we have worked closely with our clients and partners to overcome these challenges as we always do to maintain our position in the market as one of the leading solar module manufacturers.
