Siemens Energy To Continue The Cooperation With Egypt In Green Energy Projects

According to an Egyptian Presidency statement, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi followed up on cooperation with Siemens Energy in green energy projects. This is part of Egypt’s plan for becoming a regional hub to produce and exchange new and renewable energy.

El-Sisi thanked Joe Kaeser for his support in the implementation of development projects in Egypt during his meeting with Joe Kaeser, Chairman of the Supervisory board of Siemens Energy.

The president also stressed that Egypt looks forward to the German group’s expertise and knowledge in the new and renewable energy segments and the interconnection projects.

Kaeser, for his part, stated that Siemens Energy plans to do business in Egypt and continue the partnership with Egypt.

Kaeser also highlighted the group’s successful cooperation with Egypt. This is represented in a number of projects such as the three iconic power plants that are the main component of the Egyptian electricity grid.
