Sunview Secures RM122 Million EPCC Contract From Nextenaga For Development Of 29.99 MW Solar PV Project In Malaysia

Sunview Group Berhad, a renewable energy player involved in, amongst others, engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning, has secured an RM122.0 million EPCC contract from Nextenaga Sdn. Bhd., for the development of a 29.99-megawatt large-scale solar photovoltaic plant in Bukit Badong. With this latest contract, Sunview’s unbilled order book balloons to RM765.6 million and is set to be recognized over the next two financial years ending 31 March 2023 and FYE2024.


The LSSPV contract entails the design, engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning of solar energy generating facilities, Solar Power Producer (SPP) interconnection facility, and SPP works as well as obtaining necessary approvals for the EPCC project and interconnection facilities.


Works for the LSSPV plant are expected to commence not later than 31 December 2022 and the scheduled completion date shall be 30 September 2023. The scheduled commercial operation date is 31 December 2023 which is subject to the execution of the supplementary power purchase agreement.
