An open call for proposals has been issued by SJVN Green Energy, a fully owned subsidiary of SJVN, to commission a 100 MW grid-connected solar power plant in Goliwada, Gujarat.
The deadline for submission of offers is January 24, 2023, which is also the bid opening date.
Bidders have to provide the bid document costs Rs. 10,000, in addition to the earnest money deposit of Rs. 18.3 million.
The chosen developer is required to finish the project in 465 days and offer full operation and maintenance (O&M) services for 3 years.
Bidders must have prior knowledge of commissioning the balance of system for solar projects with grid connections that are at least 30 MW in capacity to participate in the bidding process.
A minimum of one of these projects must also have a capacity of 10 MW or greater and be operational for at least 3 months prior to the bid submission deadline.
Furthermore, bids can be submitted by businesses that have completed an industrial project involving electricity, cement, petrochemical, steel, fertilizer, or coal with a cost of around Rs. 520 million, which should be in operation for at least six months.
However, they are required to have prior expertise running electrical substations with voltage levels of 33 kV or higher, including equipment like power transformers and circuit breakers with such voltage levels or higher. The project must have been operating efficiently for the previous six months.
Alternatively, those who have already finished a solar project with a minimum installed capacity of 30 MW are also eligible to bid. A minimum of one reference project has to be operational for at least 3 months and should have a capacity of at least 10 MW.
The bidders must have a working capital of at least Rs. 250 million and an average yearly turnover of Rs. 520 million for the previous 3 fiscal years. They must have had a positive net worth in the most recent fiscal year and two of the three prior fiscal years.
