President Murmu To Launch 1,000 MW Solar Power Project in Rajasthan

According to the official statement of the President’s Secretariat, President Droupadi Muhammed will inaugurate Rajasthan’s Transmission System for Solar Energy Zones and lay the foundation stones for the 1,000 MW Bikaner Solar Power Project.

The President will begin a two-day trip to Rajasthan, beginning today. The President will be participating in various events, including the launch of several projects.

According to an official statement President Murmu will induct Samvidhan Udyan, Raj Bhavan, Jaipur. She will also inaugurate the Transmission System for Solar Energy Zones (Rajasthan) and lay the foundation for the 1,000 MW Bikaner Solar Power Project.

Raj Bhavan Jaipur, where she will meet members of the Particularly Vulnerable tribal Groups’ Communities of Rajasthan. The statement stated that the President will also grace Mount Abu’s launch of the National Campaign on “RISE-Rising India through Spiritual Empowerment” organized by Brahma Kumaris.

The 18th National Jamboree for the Bharat Scouts & Guides will be inaugurated at Pali, Rajasthan, on January 4, 2023.

Recently, NTPC announced that it has started the commercial operation of the second part capacity of 50 MW out of 300 MW Nokhra Solar PV Project with effect from 30 December, 2022 at Bikaner in Rajasthan.
