Karnataka Milk Federation Invites Bids for 110 MW Solar Project on Group Captive Mode

Karnataka Cooperative Milk Producersโ€™ Federation Limited (KMF) invites tenders from eligible tenderers, for the establishment of Solar Power Plant on Group Captive

Scope of the work includes Design, Finance, Installation, Commissioning, Synchronization with Operation & Maintenance for a period of 25 years of capacity 110 MW Solar Power Plant on Group Captive Mode for Karnataka Cooperative Milk Producers Federation Limited (KMF) & its member Milk Unions.

Bid submission end is 24 Feb 2023 till 4 pm and bids will be opened on 27 Feb at 11.30 am.

EMD amount equivalent to Rs. 4,31,00,000/- to be submitted through following manner :

a) Rs. 25 Lakhs through e-procurement portal only in the mode of Credit Card/ Debit Card/ NEFT (National Electronic, Fund Transfer) / OTC (Over the Counter)
b) Balance Rs.4,06,00,000/- (Rupees Four Crore Six Lakhs only) through Bank Guarantee issued from Nationalized Bank/RBI Governed reputed banks.

After the receipt of the Letter of Acceptance, the successful Tenderer shall deliver to the Employer a Security deposit for an amount equivalent to 7.8% of the contract price.

KMF will purchase 80% of the contracted power capacity from the power project established by a special purpose vehicle (SPV) each year for the 25-years.

Period of completion of the project is 18 months.

Through the establishment of the Group Captive Solar Power Project KMF would save approximately 30% -35% annually.
