Thailand based CK Power Public Company Limited (CKP), one of the largest producers of renewables-based electricity with one of lowest carbon footprints in the region, was recently presented with a Sustainability Disclosure Recognition Certificate for 2022 from Thaipat Institute.
The certificate further testifies to the company’s determination and commitment to ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) in addition to financial transparency.
It reflects CKPower’s business sustainability beneficial to its stakeholders and response to sustainability goal. Ms. Tuangporn Bunyasaranand, Assistant Managing Director: Corporate Communication and Sustainability Management, represented CKPower to receive the certificate from Mr. Woranat Piantham, Director of Thaipat Institute, at the Sustainability Disclosure Recognition 2022 Ceremony.
Earlier in the month the company has achieved a rare feat at the ASEAN level. The company has been awarded with ASEAN CG Scorecard (ACGS) for 2021 in the category of ASEAN Asset Class as a listed Thai company with an average score in ASEAN region of 97.50 or more.
The award is supported by ASEAN Capital Markets Forum (ACMF) and Asian Development Bank (ADB) to acknowledge listed companies in ASEAN that have good corporate governance, stay ESG transparent and focus on sustainable growth in compliance with international investment standards.
