The Telangana State Renewable Energy Development Corporation (TSREDCO) has issued an invitation to tender for the installation of 50 MW of grid-connected residential rooftop solar projects.
The deadline for bid submission is March 14, 2023, with bids to be opened the following day.
The program is part of Phase II of the Grid Connected Rooftop Solar Program run by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy.
The tender is divided into four categories based on the capacity of the rooftop solar systems, ranging from 1 kW to 500 kW.
Interested bidders must provide an EMD of ₹500,000, and successful bidders will need to provide a performance bank guarantee of ₹500,000 or incase of demand draft the amount would be ₹1 million to be paid within 15 days of the letter of award.
The selected vendors will be responsible for identifying rooftops and beneficiaries, obtaining necessary clearances, and executing agreements with consumers. They will also be responsible for designing, supplying, erecting, testing, and commissioning grid-connected rooftop solar systems under the capital expenditure model.
Successful bidders will have to commission the rooftop solar systems within six months of receiving approval or by the last date of the project timeline specified by MNRE to TSREDCO. They will also need to provide comprehensive operation and maintenance services for five years.
