The Maharashtra Energy Development Agency (MEDA) has announced the invitation of bids for installing and commissioning 10 MW of grid-connected rooftop solar systems on government buildings in various locations in the state.
The project will be executed under the capital expenditure (CAPEX) model, and the last date for submission of EoI is March 15, 2023, before 15:00 hrs. The opening of EoIs will take place on March 16, 2023, at 15:00 hrs.
The project details include design, engineering, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning, along with comprehensive operation and maintenance for five operational years of grid-connected rooftop solar PV projects.
As per the bid document, the installation will be done under the MNRE benchmark cost for the financial year 2021-22.
The fixed rate for the project, as per the MNRE benchmark cost for FY 2021-22, is as follows:
Up to 1 kW – Rs. 56,318
1 – 2 kW – Rs. 51,768
2 – 3 kW – Rs. 50,424
3 – 10 kW – Rs. 49,189
10 – 100 kW – Rs. 45,883 (up to 100 kW)
100 – 500 kW – Rs. 43,063 (100 kW and above)
The bid document also mentions a security deposit requirement for the project. The security deposit amount varies based on the capacity of the solar system, as follows:
1 – 10 kW – Rs. 2,00,000/- (up to 10 kW)
10 – 100 kW – Rs. 3,00,000/- (up to 100 kW)
100 – 500 kW – Rs. 5,00,000/- (100 kW and above)
The processing fee for EoI submission is Rs. 11,800/- (Rupees Eleven thousand Eight hundred only) including 18% GST, which can be paid through e-payment net banking, RTGS, and NEFT only.
