SECI Invites Bids for 100 MW Floating Solar PV Project in Jharkhand
The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has released a Request for Bids for the design, engineering, supply, construction, erection, testing, and commissioning of a 100 MW floating solar PV project at the Getalsud Dam in Ranchi, Jharkhand. The project includes 10 years of plant operation and maintenance. The bidding documents are available on SECI’s website for reference, but interested bidders must download the official copy from the Electronic Tender India (ETI) website after logging in with their ETI credentials. The deadline for online submission of bids is May 2, 2023, and the techno-commercial bids will be opened on the same day. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for March 28, 2023, and the details will be notified soon through SECI’s website.
Assam Government Approves Implementation of 620 MW Green Power Projects
The Assam government has approved the implementation of seven green power projects with a combined capacity of 620 MW. The projects will be developed under a joint venture between Assam Power Generation Company Ltd (APGCL) and Oil India Limited (OIL). The projects include floating solar power projects, agrivoltaic projects, and solar power projects in various locations throughout the state. The projects will be funded in a debt-equity ratio of 80:20, with no liability on the state government.
During the construction phase of 12 months, these projects have the potential to create 1,465 jobs, with 268 openings for the operational phase of 25 years.
Ministry of Environment Notifies Inclusion of Solar PV Modules in E-Waste Rules 2022
The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change has notified the E-Waste (Management) Rules, 2022, which include the management of solar PV modules, panels, and cells. The rules state that every manufacturer and producer of solar photo-voltaic modules or panels or cells must register on the portal, store the waste generated until the year 2034-2035, file annual returns on the portal, and ensure that the processing of waste is done according to the applicable rules or guidelines. Additionally, they must put an inventory of solar photo-voltaic modules or panels or cells distinctly on the portal and comply with the standard operating procedure and guidelines laid down by the Central Pollution Control Board.
NTPC Invites Bids To Hire Consultants For Green Ammonia Feasibility Studies
A call for proposals has been issued by NTPC Renewable Energy, a fully-owned subsidiary of NTPC, to hire technical advisors for feasibility studies on green ammonia. The proposals must be submitted by April 7, 2023, and the day of the bid opening is April 10. The scope of the job comprises feasibility studies to evaluate the operating expenditure (OPEX), capital expenditure (CAPEX), and gestation time requirements for green ammonia projects. The consultant must also figure out what the ideal levelized price of green ammonia is.Further, its scope also includes determining the precise location for constructing the entire facility on the site under consideration, as well as determining the amount and purity of needed green hydrogen, nitrogen, and any storage needs that may arise.
PEDA Invites Bids for 8.7 MW Solar Projects in Rural Punjab
Punjab Energy Development Agency (PEDA) has released a tender to commission 8.7 MW of solar projects at 970 rural piped water supply systems in the state. The bidder must submit ₹ 10,00,000 as an earnest money deposit and the successful bidder should furnish ₹ 500,000 as a performance security within 15 days from the allocation letter. The minimum capacity utilization factor for each year from the project’s commissioning date should be a minimum of 15%. Bidders should have completed the supply, installation, and commissioning of grid-connected rooftop or ground-mounted solar power projects of a minimum of 50% (cumulative capacity) of the quoted capacity in the last seven financial years. The last date to submit the bid is April 10, 2023, and the bids will be opened on April 12.
HPPCL Tender for 10 MW Solar Power Project in Himachal Pradesh
Himachal Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (HPPCL) is inviting tenders for the design, supply, construction, erection, testing, commissioning, and operation and maintenance of a 10 MW (AC) solar power project at Aghlor, Una, in Himachal Pradesh, India. The contractor will be responsible for delivering the commissioned plant to HPPCL, including the development of land, engineering, procurement of equipment and material, testing, transportation, storage, installation, and commissioning of the solar PV power plants on a turnkey basis. The contract also includes the operation and maintenance of the plant for eight years after commissioning. The contractor will be responsible for all equipment, materials, and services required for the satisfactory operation of the solar PV system and its integration with the evacuation system provided by the State Electricity Authority(s)/STU. The deadline for bid submission is 10.04.2023 at 1000 hrs, and the technical bid opening will take place on same day at 1200 hrs.
