For a 1001.3 kW rooftop solar system built at Paradip Refinery and Township in Odisha, Indian Oil Corporation has floated a request for proposals for the yearly operation and maintenance (O&M) contract.
The deadline for bid submissions is May 24, 2023. Bids will be made public the following day.
As an earnest money deposit, bidders must provide an amount of Rs. 82,400.
The bidder will be responsible for obtaining and delivering all necessary supplies for the work, such as structural steel, cement, consumables, tools, testing equipment, reinforcement, and tackles.
To optimize power generation, the successful bidder must supply items, offer personnel and services, and be responsible for all scheduled, preventative, and breakdown maintenance.
To participate in the bidding process, bidders must have completed work for the gas, oil, electricity, petrochemical, or steel industries in the previous 10 years that included the installation, operation & maintenance, and supply of a 500 kW solar power plant or greater capacity.
The bidder should have completed the job directly in their name as a direct order, rather than through a joint venture, memorandum of understanding, agent, or sister concern. Subcontracted work will also be rejected.
The bidder has previously executed one comparable work, the cost of which shall not be less than Rs. 4.1 million, or 2 similar tasks each costing not less than Rs. 3.3 million, or 3 similar jobs should be Rs. 2.5 million each.
Bidders’ yearly turnover should have been at least Rs. 4.9 million for the previous 3 fiscal years.
The annual turnover for MSEs should be at least 85% of the anticipated work cost under consideration or Rs. 4.2 million.
