B.Grimm Power Acquires Two Solar Power Companies In Malaysia

B.Grimm Power, a leading power producer in Thailand, has announced that reNIKOLA Holdings Sdn. Bhd., in which B.Grimm Power (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. holds a 45% stake, and has acquired 100% shares in BGMC BRAS Power Sdn. Bhd. and Idiwan Solar Sdn. Bhd. This acquisition means that B.Grimm Malaysia indirectly holds a 45% stake in the two companies.

BGMCSB and ISSB are the owners of Kuala Muda and Machang solar power projects, respectively, which have a total installed capacity of 90 MWdc. Both projects have entered into a 21-year power purchase agreement with Tenaga Nasional Berhad, the only electric utility company in Peninsular Malaysia.

BGMCSB (Kuala Muda) has an installed capacity of 45 MWdc located at Kedah, Malaysia and was commercially operational on 22 March 2022.

ISSB (Machang) has an installed capacity of 45 MWdc located at Kelantan, Malaysia and was commercially operational on 5 April 2023.
