OPWP Seeks Consultants For Manah I And Manah II Solar Independent Power Projects

The Oman Power and Water Procurement Company SAOC (OPWP), a member of the Nama Group, is responsible for procuring new capacity for power and water in the Sultanate of Oman in accordance with the provisions of the Law for the Regulation and Privatization of the Electricity and Related Water Sector promulgated by Royal Decree 78/2004 (as amended), as well as in accordance with OPWPโ€™s license.

OPWP wants to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced consultant(s) to provide project management and supervisory consultancy services for Manah I and Manah II Solar Independent Power Projects (Projects) during the construction, commissioning and testing of the Projects.

The tender fee is 300 OMR / Free of charge for (SMEs) with a valid Riyada card. The last date to submit the tender is 11 June 2023 at 12:00 PM Gulf Standard Time (GST).

The Manah Independent Power Projects will produce 1,000 MW of solar energy in an area of 15 million sq. m. within the Governorate A’Dakhiliyah.

The two stations will have over 2 million solar panels installed, making it the largest solar project in the Sultanate.
