SECI Issues Tender for Consultancy Firm Selection for 100 MW SPV Project along with 40 MW/120 MWh BESS at Chhattisgarh and 100 MW FSPV Project at Jharkhand

SECI (Solar Energy Corporation of India) has recently issued a tender for the selection of a consultancy firm to provide Owners Engineer (OE) services for two significant solar projects. The first project is a 100 MW (AC) Solar PV Project with a capacity of 160 MWp DC, accompanied by a 40 MW/120 MWh Battery Energy Storage System in Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh. This project falls under the Innovations in Solar Power & Hybrid Technologies initiative in India. The second project is a 100 MW (AC) Floating Solar PV Project to be constructed on the Getalsud reservoir in Ranchi district, Jharkhand, also as part of the Innovations in Solar Power & Hybrid Technologies project.

The assignment will be awarded to a consultancy firm through the Quality and Cost Based Selection (QCBS) method on a lump-sum contract basis, adhering to the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations & procedures. The selection process will follow the Full Technical Proposal (FTP) format outlined in the Request for Proposal (RFP). The complete RFP document can be found on the World Bank’s website.

Interested parties are invited to participate in a Pre Bid meeting scheduled for 14/06/2023. Further details about the meeting will be provided through a separate notification on SECI’s website. The deadline for online submission of bids is set for 03/07/2023, until 14.00 hours. The Techno-Commercial Bids will be opened on the same day at 14.30 hours.

These projects mark a significant step towards India’s commitment to expanding its renewable energy capacity. By engaging consultancy services for Owners Engineer (OE) services, SECI aims to ensure the successful implementation and operation of the solar projects in Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand.
