Waaree Renewable Technologies Ltd (WRTL), a prominent player in the renewable energy Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) sector, is excited to announce its recent contract win. The company has been awarded the EPC contract for a 6.5 MWp (DC) / 5 MW (AC) solar power project, commissioned by the energy arm of a leading Steel and Power Conglomerate in Chhattisgarh, India.
Spanning across a vast 23-acre plot, this solar power project aims to generate clean energy for the region. The power generated by the solar panels will be efficiently evacuated at the 33 kV level and injected into the existing 33 kV Switchyard. In addition to the EPC responsibilities, Waaree Renewable Technologies Ltd will also undertake the operation and maintenance (O&M) of the solar power plant for a period of 5 years, starting from the date of commissioning.
