The Ajmer Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (AVVNL) has recently issued a tender for the development of grid-connected solar power projects as part of Component ‘C’ of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthaan Mahabhiyaan (PM-KUSUM) program. The tender aims to facilitate the solarization of feeders and calls for the establishment of 82.94 MW of solar power projects.
The final date to submit the bids is June 27, 2023 and bids will be opened on the next day.
Eligible bidders are invited to submit their proposals in two parts, covering various aspects such as design, survey, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and operation and maintenance for a period of 25 years. The tender adopts the RESCO (Renewable Energy Service Company) mode, wherein the selected bidder will provide the solar power infrastructure and sell the generated electricity to AVVNL.
he estimated cost of the project is ₹3.5 Cr per MW, and bidders are required to provide an earnest money deposit of ₹100,000/MW. Successful bidders must also submit a performance bank guarantee (PBG) of ₹500,000/MW of the quoted capacity.
