During the recently concluded Energy Asia conference, Gentari Sdn Bhd, a leading clean energy solutions provider, entered into two Strategic Collaboration Agreements (SCAs). The first agreement was with Sarawak Energy Berhad (SEB), while the second agreement was with SEDC Energy Sdn Bhd (SEDC Energy), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sarawak Economic Development Corporation. These collaborations are for exploring and capitalizing on potential opportunities for developing and deploying clean energy solutions. The signing ceremony witnessed the coming together of energy professionals, industry leaders, and policymakers who are all committed to advancing Asia’s Net-Zero Ambitions.
Gentari Sdn Bhd while collaborating with SEB is committed to driving a sustainable and renewable energy future in Sarawak by deploying more renewable energy projects. In partnership with SEDC Energy, Gentari will be focusing on the production of green hydrogen by optimising the state’s abundant renewable resource and leveraging Sarawak’s abundant renewable resources. Additionally, Gentari, SEB, and SEDC Energy are jointly working on establishing a comprehensive electric vehicle (EV) charging network in Sarawak, promoting green mobility solutions and facilitating the transition to low carbon transportation.
To ensure the success of these collaborations, Gentari will closely engage with the Sarawak State Government and other stakeholders in a public-private coordination framework. Enhanced communication, synergy, and streamlined efforts will help parties to achieve Sarawak’s clean energy goals and advance towards a sustainable future for the state.
“We are proud to collaborate with SEB and SEDC Energy to pursue the deployment of clean energy solutions in Sarawak and actively drive the state’s energy transition and decarbonisation efforts.
