Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has released a Request for Selection (RfS) document for the selection of Electrolyser Manufacturers (EM) in India. Interested bidders are required to pay a document fee of INR 25,000/- along with applicable GST, and a bid processing fee of INR 15,00,000/- plus GST.

The scope of work entails setting up manufacturing capacities for Electrolysers to promote domestic manufacturing and the production of Green Hydrogen. Bids are invited in two separate buckets: one for electrolyser manufacturing capacity based on any stack technology, and the other for capacity based on indigenously developed stack technology. The total capacity offered is divided into two buckets: 1200 MW for the first bucket and 300 MW for the second bucket.

Bidders can submit a single bid for a bid capacity in each bucket, with a maximum bid capacity of 300 MW. Bidders awarded capacity in the first bucket will be considered for the indigenously developed stack technology for any remaining capacity under certain conditions. The deadline for bid submission is September 5, 2023, and the bid opening date is September 8, 2023.
