NTPC has announced a bid invitation for the operation and maintenance (O&M) of a 23.3 MW grid-connected solar power project in Solapur for a duration of twenty-four months.
Interested parties must submit their bids by July 20, 2023, with the bid opening taking place on the same day.
The project comprises three separate blocks, with Block-1 and Block-2 having a capacity of 10 MW each, and Block-3 having a capacity of 3.3 MW. Presently, only Block-2, with a 10 MW capacity, has been commissioned, while the remaining two blocks will be installed and commissioned in the near future.
Bidders are required to provide an earnest money deposit of ₹0.2 crores.
The selected bidders will need to furnish 10% of the contracted amount as a performance bank guarantee.
Eligible bidders must have prior experience in installing, commissioning, or operating and maintaining a grid-connected solar project of at least 5 MW capacity within the last seven years from the date of the techno-commercial bid opening.
Additionally, bidders should possess experience in executing supply, erection, commissioning, maintenance, and operation activities related to equipment such as inverters and solar modules for solar power projects meeting specific criteria:
- Execution of a single order with a value of not less than ₹0.82 crores, or
- Execution of two orders, each with a value of not less than ₹0.51 crores, or
- Execution of three orders, each with a value of not less than ₹0.41 crores.
Furthermore, the bidders should have an average annual turnover of at least ₹1.02 crores in the preceding three financial years.
These requirements have been laid out by NTPC to ensure that qualified bidders possess the necessary expertise and financial capabilities to successfully undertake the operation and maintenance of the solar power project in Solapur.
