Jammu & Kashmir Energy Development Agency (JAKEDA) has unveiled a significant tender inviting eligible bidders for the Design, Supply, Installation, Commissioning, and Comprehensive Maintenance Contract (CMC) of Grid Connected Solar Photovoltaic Power Plants. These solar installations, with an aggregate capacity of 1.75 MWs, will be established on identified Government Buildings within the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir.
On behalf of the Lt. Governor of UT of J&K, JAKEDA has initiated a Two Cover System online tender process, inviting eligible bidders to participate through e-tendering. The Request for Selection (RFS) outlines the detailed scope of work, including technical specifications, eligibility criteria, bill of quantities (BOQ), and terms and conditions of the contract.
Interested bidders can access and download the complete bidding document, comprising the necessary qualifying information, from the official website http://www.jktenders.gov.in. The period of availability of the bid document online is from July 19, 2023, to August 5, 2023, until 5:00 PM.
The last date and time for submission of bids are set for August 5, 2023, up to 5:00 PM. Technical Bids will be opened on August 7, 2023, at 11:00 AM.
Bidders must submit a Refundable Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) amounting to Rs. 20,00,000/- in the form of CDR/FDR/TDR pledged to the Chief Executive Officer, J&K Energy Development Agency. The validity of this EMD shall remain intact for 12 months from the date of bid submission.
The tender’s validity of offer extends until March 2024, and the tentative estimate for the project stands at ₹ 10 Crores Only.
