The consortium recently met with Egypt’s Minister of Public Business Sector, Mahmoud Esmat, to discuss plans for the solar plants—one for Nagaa Hammadi’s aluminum park and the other for the upcoming aluminum production project in Safaga.

The meeting also explored potential collaborations in the renewable energy sector, with a particular focus on solar energy.

This initiative aligns with Egypt’s strategy to boost renewable energy sources, working in conjunction with the Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy, to increase renewable power capacity compared to conventional grid-generated power.
