Ayana Renewable Power, a prominent Independent Power Producer (IPP) in India, has inked a significant Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Hindalco Industries Limited, a leading metals company under the Aditya Birla Group. The agreement entails the supply of 100 MW of Round-the-Clock (RTC) renewable energy to Hindalco’s smelter plants located in Odisha.

This milestone project solidifies Ayana’s commitment to evolving into a demand-driven energy solution provider and supports their vision of becoming India’s most cost-efficient power supplier, harnessing a unique blend of solar, wind, and pumped hydro technologies. With this addition, Ayana’s cumulative capacity under management now stands at nearly 5 GW, encompassing operations, maintenance, and development, reinforcing their pioneering role in India’s energy transition landscape.

Shivanand Nimbargi, the MD & CEO of Ayana Renewable Power, emphasized the project’s significance, stating, “At Ayana Renewable Power, we are resolutely committed to steering India’s energy transition journey. Our latest project marks a pivotal milestone as we deliver 100 MW of uninterrupted, carbon-free power round-the-clock – a pioneering feat in the industrial segment.”
