Maharashtra Energy Development Agency (MEDA) is seeking bids for the installation and commissioning of a 1.062 MW grid-connected rooftop solar system on the premises of the Government Medical College and Hospital in Nagpur. The selected bidder will need to manage and ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of the solar project for a period of five years following its commissioning. This project will operate under a net metering arrangement.

Bid Submission: Bidders are required to submit their bids in two parts, following the e-tendering process outlined in the bidding documents. The first part includes the technical bid, while the second part contains the financial bid, all in accordance with the Tender Document.
Bid Sale and Submission Date: Bidders have the opportunity to submit their proposals from September 1, 2023, at 14:00 hours until September 15, 2023, at 17:00 hours. A pre-bid meeting scheduled for September 8, 2023.
Technical Bid Opening: The technical bid evaluation process will take place on September 16, 2023, at 17:00 hours.
Bid Security: Bidders must include a bid security, referred to as Earnest Money Deposit (EMD), along with their bid.
Bid Opening: MEDA will initiate the process by opening the technical bids through the e-tendering system. Only those bidders who qualify in the technical bid phase will be eligible to have their financial bids considered.
Tender Document Fee: Interested parties are required to pay a non-refundable and non-transferable tender document fee of INR 29,500, which includes 18% GST.
Tender Value: The estimated project cost is of INR 5,25,37,325.
Security Deposit: Successful bidders will be required to provide a security deposit amounting to 3% of the contract value in the form of a Demand Draft payable to MEDA, Nagpur.
Price Bid: The date and time for the opening of the price bid will be announced later.
