Canadian Solar Unveils EP Cube Lite, a New Grid-Tied Residential Energy Storage Solution at RE+ in Las Vegas

Canadian Solar has introduced the EP Cube Lite, an innovative grid-tied energy storage solution at RE+ in Las Vegas, Nevada. This launch extends the EP Cube residential energy storage line, making energy storage more accessible for homeowners. Furthermore, the EP Cube Lite can be seamlessly expanded into a fully-featured EP Cube, offering backup power and additional functionalities like EV charging through the Smart Gateway.

The EP Cube Lite represents a compact and efficient grid-tied energy storage solution, empowering homeowners to reduce their electricity expenses by utilizing lower-cost daytime energy during evening hours when rates are typically higher. It boasts scalability and customization options, with capacities ranging from 6.6 kWh to 19.9 kWh, making it compatible with most existing PV systems. This flexibility allows homeowners to tailor their energy storage solutions to their specific needs.

Featuring an integrated hybrid inverter and stackable, user-friendly storage modules, the EP Cube Lite stands out with its ease of installation. Each component weighs approximately 70 lbs., enabling a quick 20-minute installation with just one or two team members. This not only streamlines the installation process but also minimizes costs for both installers and homeowners. With its sleek design and aesthetically pleasing features, the EP Cube Lite seamlessly integrates with various home styles, enhancing its visual appeal.
