MKVDC Calls for Consulting Services for 200 MW Solar PV Power Plant Project and Infrastructure

The Maharashtra Krishna Valley Development Corporation (MKVDC) is gearing up for a major renewable energy initiative in Maharashtra, India. Backed by German financial support via the German Development Bank (KfW), MKVDC is embarking on the development of a large-scale solar photovoltaic (PV) power plant with a formidable capacity of up to 200 MWDC. To facilitate this endeavor, MKVDC has released a call for consulting services aimed at aiding in the engineering, procurement, construction supervision, and operation of the solar PV power plant and its associated power evacuation infrastructure.

The selected consultant must meet specific criteria, including a robust educational and professional background, as well as prior experience in similar endeavors. A successful track record in the photovoltaic sector, especially within India, focusing on the construction and operation of PV power plants, is paramount. The consultant team should comprise diverse experts with relevant skills, bolstered by adept administrative support staff.

The contract will adhere to KfW’s established standards, ensuring transparency and compliance with guidelines. The duration for these consulting services spans a comprehensive 48 months, emphasizing the project’s long-term nature.

Interested consulting firms are urged to submit their application documents electronically via the https://mahatenders.gov.in/ e-procurement platform no later than 24th October 2023, 16:00 hrs Indian Standard Time (IST). Hard copies will not be accepted.
