Siam Piwat Group Partners Across Sectors To Achieve 100% Renewable Energy By 2030

Siam Piwat Group, a renowned real estate and retail developer in Thailand, is reaffirming its commitment to sustainable world-class destination development. The company, known for iconic properties like Siam Paragon, Siam Center, and Siam Discovery, is partnering with various sectors to align its business with people, society, and the environment.


Siam Piwat aims to power its operations with clean energy, advance its 360° waste management program, and contribute to the development of Pathumwan as a smart eco-district. By collaborating with global brands and organizations, the company seeks to adhere to the United Nations’ sustainability goals and elevate its business practices to international standards.


Naratipe Ruttapradid, Chief Operating Officer of Siam Piwat Co., Ltd., emphasized their commitment to sustainability, aiming to benefit society, enhance lives, and prioritize environmental conservation. The company plans to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050, in alignment with its sustainability goals.


Assoc. Prof. Singh Intrachooto, Ph.D., a sustainability expert and consultant to Siam Piwat for over a decade, lauded the company’s sustainability efforts and environmental practices. He highlighted their initiatives to transform shopping centers into sustainability learning hubs and create eco-friendly communities.

Siam Piwat is making significant strides in clean energy adoption, including the installation of rooftop solar panels at ICONSIAM and Siam Premium Outlets Bangkok. These initiatives significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions and promote renewable energy usage.

The company is collaborating with clean energy organizations, including SCG Cleanergy Co., Ltd. and B.Grimm Power Limited, to transition towards renewable energy and aims to achieve RE100% by 2030.

Siam Piwat is also addressing waste management challenges with its 360° Waste Journey to Zero Waste program, aiming to divert 50% of its waste from landfills by 2030. The company has established Recycle Collection Centers in partnership with various organizations.

Furthermore, Siam Piwat is partnering with Assoc. Prof. Niramon Serisakul from Chulalongkorn University to develop Pathumwan into a model smart eco-district. This initiative aims to enhance the district’s competitiveness and contribute to Thailand’s economy.
