BCPG Public Company Limited, under the leadership of President and CEO Niwat Adirek, has taken a significant stride in expanding its green power portfolio. The company finalized a Share Sale and Purchase Agreement with Green Tech Venture Public Company Limited (GTV) to acquire 12.95-MW solar power plants in Thailand. This strategic move involves obtaining a 100% equity stake in BS Solar Energy Company Limited and Parabolic Solar Power Company Limited.

The acquired solar power plants, already in full commercial operation, are spread across four provinces: Udon Thani, Phetchabun, Nakhon Sri Thammarat, and Songkhla. BCPG secured a favorable feed-in tariff of 4.12 Baht per unit.

“We expect to immediately recognize revenue from four new solar power plants after the completion of the agreement by the first quarter of 2024. The investment is in line with BCPG’s strategy to expand our core business – green power plants. In addition, we aim to develop the existing projects to enhance our portfolio’s performance,” stated Niwat Adirek. This move aligns with BCPG’s commitment to strengthening its presence in the green energy sector and optimizing the performance of its growing portfolio.
