FIMER is thrilled to highlight the remarkable milestones achieved in 2023, marking a phenomenal year of growth and positioning us for a quantum leap in performance.
Throughout 2023, India’s leadership at the G20 table and the Indian Space Research Organization’s groundbreaking venture to the Moon’s South Pole set the stage for unprecedented achievements. In parallel, FIMER secured its first major order of the year, a substantial 2.45 GW contract from a single client at a specific location in India. Notably, this milestone involved the successful closure of the NTPC Phase 1 & Phase 2 Khavda project, utilizing FIMER PVS-980 5MW inverters, solidifying our status as one of the few Class-1 suppliers approved by NTPC for such projects. Anticipated to be installed and commissioned by Q3, 2024, this project represents a significant stride for FIMER.

In the realm of order bookings, FIMER soared to new heights, surpassing the 5GW milestone this year. The reputation of our brand and the quality of our products are evident in the numerous repeat orders received from esteemed clients such as Sterling & Wilson, Amaraja, Avaada, Jackson, Honeywell, and international giants like Hitachi Sweden. This achievement reflects a remarkable doubling of our growth in 2023, clocking over 5GW+, compared to 2.5GW+ in sales during 2022.

FIMER emerges as a frontrunner in manufacturing converters for Battery Energy Storage Solutions (BESS) systems, having successfully supplied over 500MW+ of BESS projects within and outside India. Notable projects include the 6MVA/18MWHr BESS project at Modhera, Gujarat, contributing to the solarification of the temple town. Additionally, FIMER played a pivotal role in the transformation of Sanchi, a UNESCO World Heritage site in Madhya Pradesh, into India’s first “solar city.” The completion of a 3 MW solar plant is expected to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by over 14,300 tonnes annually, with FIMER supplying central inverters PVS980-58 for projects commissioned by Goldi Solar Pvt. Ltd.
FIMER’s historic contribution extends to supplying a 1MW/MVA BESS converter for a 1MW solar coupled with 1MWhr BESS at the Indian Army military base camp in Ladakh. The robustness and durability of our converters proved ideal for extreme cold conditions at an altitude exceeding 3500m.

In support of corporate sustainability goals, FIMER supplied BESS-compatible inverters PVS980-58BC 2 MVA to two Capgemini office campuses. Furthermore, a 3.5 MW BESS system was installed by Arcedo System in Mumbai, and a 2.5 MW system was commissioned by Replus Engitech in Noida, both in 2023.
FIMER proudly showcased its flagship products, the “Central Inverters PVS98-58 series” and BESS Converter “PVS980-58 BC” series, at major events in India throughout the year. Excitingly, FIMER is set to launch the country’s highest-capacity BESS converter, boasting a 5MVA capacity, in 2024.
Acknowledging our commitment to excellence, FIMER received the prestigious “Solar+ Storage Project-Inverter Provider of the Year 2023” award for the Modhera project from a leading media house in the country. Additionally, Shri KN Sreevatsa, the Managing Director of FIMER India, was honoured as one of the top 100 influential tech leaders in the solar industry for the year 2023 by SolarQuarter. These accolades underscore FIMER’s dedication to innovation, sustainability, and industry leadership.
