Malaysia’s Sunview Group Expands Global Presence In Renewable Energy Collaboration With Saudi Arabian Firm

Sunview Group Berhad, a leading player in the renewable energy sector, has announced a significant move towards international collaboration. Its wholly-owned subsidiary, Fabulous Sunview Sdn Bhd, inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Vision Ambassadors Company For International Trade Consultancy, LCC, based in Saudi Arabia. The MOU signing ceremony was graced by Dato’ Sohaimi bin Shahadan, President of the ASEAN Chamber of Commerce & Industry.

The MOU outlines a strategic partnership between Sunview and Vision Ambassadors, with a primary focus on identifying and investing in opportunities related to renewable and green energy projects. Both entities will work as principal investors, jointly pinpointing potential project locations. Sunview will take the lead in handling the engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning (EPCC) tasks associated with these projects.

Expressing enthusiasm about the collaboration, HP Ong, Executive Director & Chief Executive Officer of Sunview Group Berhad, stated, “We are thrilled to collaborate with Vision Ambassadors. We will not only explore opportunities within Malaysia but also across other regions, including Saudi Arabia, the Middle East, Africa, as well as Southeast Asia. This endeavor aims to extend our geographical footprint beyond the Malaysian market.”

Ong highlighted the global pursuit of achieving net-zero carbon emissions and emphasized the crucial role of renewable energy in realizing this ambitious objective. He expressed optimism about the MOU yielding fruitful outcomes in the future, given the sustained demand for renewable energy.

Sunview’s move aligns with the industry’s broader efforts to contribute to global sustainability goals and signifies a significant step towards diversifying its operations in the international renewable energy landscape.
