DEWA And Japanese Consul General Explore Clean Energy Collaboration

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) CEO, HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, recently held an introductory meeting with the newly appointed Japanese Consul General, HE Jun Imanishi. Welcoming Imanishi to his new position in Dubai, Al Tayer extended his best wishes for a successful diplomatic mission.

During the meeting, Al Tayer and Consul General Imanishi explored avenues to enhance cooperation and establish partnerships between DEWA and Japanese organizations, particularly in the water, renewable energy, and clean energy sectors. Al Tayer reiterated DEWA’s commitment to collaboration with diplomatic and consular missions in the UAE, emphasizing the importance of joint efforts.

The Japanese Consul General expressed appreciation for the facilities provided by DEWA to Japanese companies in Dubai and lauded the existing cooperative efforts. The discussions reflected a shared interest in fostering meaningful collaborations that contribute to advancements in sustainable and clean energy practices.
