Assam Power Distribution Company Ltd Seeks Project Management Consultant for Assam Solar Project

The Government of India is seeking financing from the Asian Development Bank for the Assam Solar Project. The Assam Power Distribution Company Ltd (APDCL), as the implementing agency, plans to allocate a portion of the loan for eligible payments under the project management consultant contract.

This consultant will be responsible for supervising, implementing, and managing the 1000 MWp (750 MW) Solar Grid Connected project in Karbi Anglong District, Assam, under the “Mukhya Mantri Sauro Shakti Prokolpo,” as outlined in the Terms of Reference.

Expressions of Interest (EOI) submission deadline is February 25, 2024.

The firmare anticipated to deliver services equivalent to 84 person-months of international key experts and 216 person-months of national key experts.
The consulting services are projected to span approximately 60 months.

The firm must have experience in designing and providing project management and supervision support for the implementation of Solar Energy Generation Projects, with a minimum capacity of 200 MWp at a single location and implementation of Extra High Voltage (EHV) substations and transmission lines with a minimum voltage class of 400 kV or above.

The firm’s average audited annual financial turnover for the last three fiscal years should be at least INR 50 crores or its equivalent.
The anticipated start date for the consulting services is tentatively set for June 2024.
