Beam Global , a prominent provider of sustainable infrastructure solutions for transportation electrification and energy security, has announced significant progress with six federal customers placing first-time orders, further expanding Beam Global’s presence within its existing federal clientele.

The procurement of Beam Global’s EV ARCโ„ข systems was facilitated through the General Services Administration (GSA) Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) Contract Number 47QSWA21D0006 and the GSA Federal Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment Contract Number 47QMCA22A0004. These contracts streamline the federal procurement process and ensure competitive pricing for government agencies.

The solar-powered EV ARCโ„ข charging infrastructure products operate off-grid, producing and storing clean electricity autonomously. Their deployment requires no electrical work, construction, or utility bills, thereby reducing costs for the federal government by eliminating the need for construction, electrical upgrades, operational disruptions, and ongoing utility bills. Moreover, the systems offer uninterrupted charging capabilities during blackouts, with optional Emergency Power Panels providing crucial electricity for first responders during emergencies and power outages.

Among the new federal customers are notable agencies such as Defense Media Activity (DMA), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Missile Defense Agency (MDA), National Park Service (NPS), Small Business Administration (SBA), and United Cleanup Oak Ridge (UCOR).

Desmond Wheatley, CEO of Beam Global, emphasized the growing demand for rapidly deployable, energy-resilient, and scalable solutions in the EV charging infrastructure sector, particularly among government entities. He highlighted the imperative of disaster preparedness and energy resilience, aligning with national security objectives. Wheatley underscored Beam Global’s commitment to supporting the transition to 100% renewable energy-powered EV charging infrastructure, in line with federal sustainability goals.

With the federal fleet comprising approximately 657,500 vehicles, initiatives such as Executive Order 14057 and the Federal Sustainability Plan prioritize zero-emission vehicle acquisitions, aiming for 100% zero-emission vehicle acquisitions by 2035 and 100% light-duty acquisitions by 2027. This strategy accelerates the adoption of clean and zero-emission vehicles across federal, state, local, and tribal government fleets.
