LONGi Solar displayed its groundbreaking Heterojunction Back-Contact (HBC) solar cell at the ‘CleanTech Innovators’ exhibition organized by DEWA (Dubai Electricity and Water Authority) from February 26th to 28th, 2024, at the Innovation Centre Dubai, within the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park.

The CleanTech Innovators exhibition served as a vibrant platform for professionals, experts, and industry peers to exhibit sustainable solutions in clean technology. At the event, LONGi Solar displayed its latest achievement – the HBC Cell, which has set a World Record by achieving a remarkable efficiency of 27.09%. An achievement which has been certified by the esteemed Institute for Solar Energy Research Hamelin (ISFH) in Germany.
Mr. Ahmed Ziyada, Technical Director for Middle East at LONGi Solar, delivered an insightful presentation on the groundbreaking technology behind the HBC Cell. He also engaged with the audience, addressing their queries and providing in-depth knowledge about the revolutionary advancements in solar technology.
