PV CellTech Europe 2024 centered on the latest n-type cell technology, bringing together industry experts to explore the future of photovoltaic technology. Christian highlighted Huasun’s formidable mass production capabilities for high-efficiency heterojunction (HJT) products amidst the dynamic growth of the global solar industry.

In his presentation, Christian unveiled the remarkable P-N junction of HJT cells, along with their naturally symmetrical structure, offering numerous advantages to modules such as an 85% bifaciality, superior energy yield, and an ultimate temperature coefficient of -0.24%℃.

Moreover, the integration of light conversion film (LCF) and PIB sealing in mass production not only optimizes sunlight utilization but also enhances module durability against UV and mist erosion, solidifying the high efficiency and reliability of Huasun HJT modules throughout their life cycle. The innate high efficiency traits of HJT, coupled with advanced processes, have positioned Huasun at the forefront of mass-producing 720W+ modules.

Since its inception in 1997, HJT cell technology  has progressed into the HJT 3.0 era, with double-sided microcrystalline silicon seamlessly integrated into Huasun’s mass production. Notably, Huasun’s Everest G12R, Himalaya G12, and G10 Series modules offer significant advantages in power and efficiency compared to conventional technological routes. Christian emphasized the company’s commitment to greener, low-carbon innovation through the comprehensive use of dedicated silicon wafers for HJT, low-indium materials, and ongoing R&D in HJT-perovskite tandem cells.
