The Maharashtra State Power Generation Company (MAHAGENCO) has announced a tender soliciting bids for the production and supply of 750 MWp of solar photovoltaic (PV) modules. These modules are intended for projects under the Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana (MSKVY 2.0) throughout the state.
The objective of the program is to achieve 30% feeder solarization by 2025 by establishing decentralized solar projects ranging from 2 MW to 10 MW in capacity within a five-kilometre radius of agriculture-dominated substations.
The deadline for bid submission is set for May 3, 2024, with bid opening taking place on the same day.
To be eligible to bid, a vendor registration fee of โน29,500 and an earnest money deposit of โน1.25 crore per 50 MWp are required.
Each bidder will be allocated a minimum of 50 MWp, with a maximum limit of 300 MWp per supplier.
To qualify, bidders must have previously manufactured and supplied at least 40 MW of solar PV modules, with at least one such supply order being for a project of 10 MW or higher capacity that has been operational for a year. Additionally, they must be listed as module manufacturers under the governmentโs Approved List of Module Manufacturers and have an annual production capacity of at least ten times the bid capacity.
The bidder’s net worth, as of the last day of the preceding financial year, should not be less than 100% of their paid-up share capital. Furthermore, the annual average turnover for the last three financial years must be โน Rs. 1 Cr. Per MWp for total quoted capacity.
