The discussion revolved around the challenge of transitioning to a green hydrogen economy without inadvertently increasing emissions. Panelists highlighted the need for strategic planning to prevent increased emissions while scaling up renewable energy infrastructure to meet the estimated 850GW global demand by 2030, and extensively analyzed the pivotal role of governments in facilitating the scaling of renewables.
Trina Solar has shipped more than 190GW of modules, generating green power for customers in more than 100 countries and regions. The company is continuing to expand business in the U.S. Trina’s latest venture, a 1.35 million-square-foot facility in Wilmer, Texas, marks a substantial commitment to American manufacturing. This investment promises to fortify the U.S. solar market by adding 5GW of clean energy capacity.
