The primary objective of this memorandum is to establish a non-binding strategic alliance between the Vietnam ASEAN Hydrogen Club and the Japan Hydrogen Association. The agreement aims to foster continuous exchange of information between the two organizations, in tandem with established committees or working groups. Among the proposed areas for information sharing include participation in committees, working groups, and industry events, as well as the exchange of reports, educational materials, and insights on government policies and regulations pertinent to the hydrogen sector.

The collaboration outlined in this memorandum seeks to facilitate enhanced cooperation and knowledge sharing toward mutual objectives, with a commitment to explore further avenues of collaboration where appropriate.

The Vietnam ASEAN Hydrogen Club (VAHC) is a private club dedicated to establishing a platform for policymakers, scientists, researchers, project developers, financial investors, and climate change advocates to converge and collaborate on hydrogen-related initiatives in Vietnam, the South, and the ASEAN region. Through VAHC, stakeholders can engage in the transfer of resources including human capital, land assets, technology, financing, and expertise in hydrogen energy projects at national and regional levels.
