MNRE’s initial memorandum, dated 16th March 2024, called for input on the draft guidelines. However, due to the significant interest and input from stakeholders, the ministry has decided to extend the deadline to accommodate further comments. The new deadline for submissions is now set for 30th April 2024.
The PM-Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana aims to promote solar energy adoption in residential areas by providing free electricity to households. By extending the deadline for feedback, MNRE seeks to ensure comprehensive stakeholder engagement in the development of these guidelines, fostering a more inclusive and effective implementation of the scheme.
