SJVN Green Energy Seeks BoS Package with Power Evacuation and 3 Yrs O&M for 400 MW Solar Projects in Maharashtra

SJVN Green Energy Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of SJVN Limited, has issued a Notice Inviting Tender for the procurement of a comprehensive Balance of System (BoS) package. This package encompasses Power Evacuation and Three Years Comprehensive Operation & Maintenance for a cumulative capacity of 400 MW (AC) spread across multiple solar photovoltaic power projects in Maharashtra.

Documented as SGEL/CHQ/Contracts/BoS-MH/SPP/2024 on 22nd April 2024, this tender presents an opportunity for interested parties to participate in the expansion of renewable energy infrastructure in Maharashtra. The projects are part of MSEDCL Phase-VII & Phase-IX initiatives and are located at four distinct locations within the state.

The projects and their respective capacities and locations are as follows:

Project-1: 160 MW AC capacity situated in Village Dhanora, Teh. Sengaon, Distt. Hingoli, with 640 acres of land earmarked for plant development.
Project-2: 80 MW AC capacity located in Village Jambheore, Teh. Dharangaon, Distt. Jalgaon, requiring 320 acres of land.
Project-3: 80 MW AC capacity positioned in Village Khandali, Teh. Ahmedpur, Distt. Latur, with an allocated land area of 320 acres.
Project-4: 80 MW AC capacity also situated in Village Khandali, Teh. Ahmedpur, Distt. Latur, with 320 acres of land dedicated for development.

The tender process operates on a Single Stage Two Envelope system, comprising Techno-Commercial Bid (Envelope-I) and Price Bid (Envelope-II), along with Reverse Auction.

Notably, Bid submission closes on 14th May 2024, 02:00 PM and bid opening is scheduled for the same day at 03:00 PM.

Bidders must adhere to bid security requirements, wherein separate Earnest Money Deposits (EMDs) are to be submitted for each project. The EMD amounts are as follows:

Project-1: 160 MW AC – Rs. 6.37 Crores
Project-2: 80 MW AC – Rs. 3.18 Crores
Project-3: 80 MW AC – Rs. 3.18 Crores
Project-4: 80 MW AC – Rs. 3.18 Crores
Parties intending to bid for multiple projects need to provide separate EMDs for each project.
