CIL Navikarniya Urja Limited Invites Bids for 20 MW AC Solar Project in Orissa

CIL Navikarniya Urja Limited a Subsidiary Company of Coal India Limited invites bids for the construction of a solar PV power plant for its captive consumption in the Lakhanpur and Jagannath areas of Orissa.

The last date to submit the bids is June 6, 2024.

Bidder must submit and Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of Rs 50 lakhs.

The estimated cost of the project is Rs 102.05 crore with total contract period of 4015 days.

The scope of work includes the installation, testing, and commissioning of the 20 MW (AC) solar plant, along with the transmission line or cable from the plant’s take-off point to the interconnecting substations. The scope also includes the construction of bay(s) at the substations.

The EPC Contractor will be responsible for maintaining the overhead transmission lines (OHTLs) during the 10-year operation and maintenance (O&M) period at their own cost.

 The EPC Contractor will also handle safety, security, construction of the boundary wall, installation of barriers to prevent theft, and implementation of a security system with adequate CCTV and PTZ cameras for web-based digital surveillance, controlled from a centralized control room.

The maintenance and operation of the transmission line during the 10-year O&M period will be the sole responsibility of the EPC Contractor.
